I am a freelance translator and scientist living in Japan. In my spare time I like to draw and take photographs, particularly when it comes to animals.

While I enjoyed drawing as a kid, I didn't really get into drawing properly until 2018. Now I'm completely hooked and I often draw whenever I have a free moment, even if it means propping myself against the side of the train and sketching on my clipboard. So, if you see a strange gaijin prodding frantically at a clipboard on the Utsunomiya line to Tokyo, that could well be me (leastways, I don't know of any others that do this).
